canberra

Canberra is Australia’s capital city and is a smaller city of wide-open spaces with many parks and gardens, with the impressive architecture housing the national institutions set in beautiful surroundings.

There is much to discover and explore from the National Film and Sound Archive & the Australian Institute of Sport to the National Science and Technology Centre and the National Aquarium and Australian Wildlife Sanctuary. Canberra is a wonderful Arts & Culture Centre, with a Living History, wonderful Parks, Gardens, Reserves and Mountains. If you are looking for some fun and flavour visit Canberra’s markets or visit various villages and vines. Cycling is very popular and renting a bike to take advantage of the excellent network of bike paths is strongly recommended. Whatever your interest, Canberra is a quiet, unassuming yet politically vibrant city.
